I have always been someone who loves to get out there and be with other people, which is why my struggle with depression was really devastating and unexpected. I knew that I needed to get some help, but I had no idea how to get started. Fortunately, I had a lot of friends that had also had problems with depression, so they talked with me about some self help techniques that they felt would be effective.
